According to Feng Shui principles, a variety of things can affect workplace energy, such as the building's structural materials, external design, location, interior colors, lighting, decor and furniture placement. Facing wall = blocked; Back to door = not in control; Behind door = hidden away. Clear all unnecessary items from your desk - those that you don't need to use every day. A desk with a front panel is good (no front panel makes you feel more vulnerable).
  
• Chair: Should be sturdy, safe, comfortable and supportive. If broken, repair or buy new, it is bad for health/back problems and you do not feel supported in your career. Red = power, high energy. The height of the chair back relates to success.
