Paul and Joe owned a restaurant. The two business partners had enjoyed each other’s company for years before they entered the business together. Naturally, Paul was extremely distressed to discover that Joe was embezzling from the restaurant.
A legal battle ensued as Paul fought to buy Joe out of the business and recover the stolen money. When Paul requested a Feng Shui consultation, the legal proceedings were almost completed and Paul was proceeding with plans to purchase Joe’s share of the business.
The only thing that remained was for Joe to sign a legal document, relinquishing all rights to the business. Joe had been given the document weeks before but refused to sign. He also became a nuisance, vandalizing Paul’s home when Paul was at work.

Then, in order to activate the energy needed to bring about a positive resolution, Paul placed some of the legal documentation surrounding the case along with an affirmation stating that the situation would be resolved "for the highest good of everyone involved" into a red folder and placed it in the Helpful People Gua (area of his home).
Within just a couple of weeks, Paul reported that Joe had signed and returned the document. There had been no further vandalism or unpleasant encounters. In fact, Joe disappeared, and Paul proceeded to operate his business in peace.
